My Team on the Net
SparTech Software is pleased to announce the introduction of the My Team on the Net web package. My Team on the Net, in this iteration, is geared towards team/club/organization management for soccer associations, select/competitive clubs, and individual teams. Unlike other web applications, such as ETeamz, My Team gives you total control of your web site with the ease and convenience of application plug-ins that offer advanced functionality such as scheduling, team management, team communications, budget and billing, and much more!

Features

Total Control - you will have your own domain name (e.g. yourorganzation.com), your own server space, and total control over the look and feel of your site. 100% customization options are open for you so you can ensure your site is differentiated from all the others and not lost in the crowd. If you do not have the needed expertise to maintain your own web site, SparTech Software can help you convert your site or you can use one of our pre-built templates. The amount of control you exert over your web presence is 100% up to you.

Ease of Use - uses the industry standard Microsoft Windows 2003 with FrontPage. You can make changes and upload your site using easy to use tools such as Microsoft FrontPage or Microsoft Word. Or use the web creation tool of your choice and upload your modified pages using FTP (e.g. using the standard Windows FTP software).

Easy to Implement Advanced Functionality - "plug-ins" are used to offer advanced functionality to sites hosted by us. Want to offer game and tournament scheduling - add the plug in to your page and that functionality will come to life. For a small setup fee, SparTech Software will take your site template and install all the application plug-ins for you!

Advanced Functionality

My Team offers more functionality and customization than any other product - including ETeamz! No "webmaster" needed. Each team coach, manager, or other member can maintain the web site using the browser itself as the easy-to-use interface. Want to add schedules? Go to the Schedules admin form, fill in the date, times, and locations - click Save and viola - your practice schedule is online for all members to access.

The list of features available include:

Advanced security - three levels of security are offered (1) club/organization admin, (2) team admin/coach/manager, and (3) member level security. Team members register their own personal accounts online using the "code key" you provide. This code key determines their level of security. Once they've registered on your site they have only the access levels you specify for that particular code key. This gives you the ability to delegate administrative functions to anyone you wish.

Game scheduling - admins use the easy-to-use web interface to enter their game schedules and save for members to view once they've logged in. Formatting, colors, and information included are all customizable by you.

Tournament scheduling - admins use the easy-to-use web interface to enter tournaments and tournament schedules. Members can view tournament schedules and drill down into maps and tournament notes.

Practice schedules - admins use the easy-to-use interface to enter the practice schedules for their team. Need to cancel a practice? Click "cancel" for the specific practice and the member view will change to show the practice as "cancelled" and an email is generated and sent to all members of your team informing them of the cancellation (if, of course, you've set your site options to allow generation of these notification type emails).

Skills clinics, camps, tryouts, team parties, board meetings, etc. All are easily entered into the site through your web browser.

Graphical Calendar - want to see everything at a glance? Use the interactive graphical calendar to view all events setup for your team or organization. In this single view, members can view game schedules, practices schedules, tournament schedules, special event schedules and more. Hove over an event and full details pop up. Click Print and you get a neatly formatted printout of the month's calendar.

Roster maintenance - members can view roster information, player photos, get phone numbers or email addresses of their teammates, even print a neatly formatted "contact sheet" to use offline.

Game and Player Statistics - admins can enter game stats in about 2 minutes. Members can access all game and player stats in an interactive mode that lets them "slice and dice" the stats to view details stats, averages, and rankings on various criteria including playing time, positions played, shots, goals, fouls, etc.

Team Communication - an advanced email/newsletter utility lets the coach, managers, or other selected organization members send messages to the entire team or the entire organization. Recipients responses are tracked and all messages sent are archived on your web site. Admins can go back through the list and see which team members have acknowledged receipt and which ones have not read the message.

Site Message pump - ability to "pump" a message to a user when they log into your web site.

Opponent tracking - stats, notes, and more can be tracked for opponents and shared by all members of your organization including analysis of the organization's teams against this opponent.

Photo Albums - allow members to upload and view photos. All photos uploaded are "queued" for the team admin to approve before allowed to display on the web site. Once approved, members navigate to the photo album and click the thumbnail of the photo they wish to download or view.

Club, Team, and Organization news - as with all the advanced features that My Team offers, there's no need to manually edit a web page to add club, team, or organization news to your site's news page. The team admin, coach, or other delegated authority can utilize the easy-to-use web interface to publish news real-time to your site. All news items can be dated too to cause them to "auto expire" or to allow the scheduling of the posting.

Real Time Polls - easy to implement polls. Get members opinions and comments on what kind of job you're doing! Use the web interface to enter your poll question and the responses you wish to allow, click the Save button and your poll is ready to insert into the page of your choice.

Newsletter Signup - ability to collect email addresses and player age groups using a easy to install plug-in component.

College Scout Report generation - managers and coaches maintain their roster and can also easily maintain additional collegiate recruiting player data which can be accessed by any interested party. Ability to turn on or off this functionality for any given team (to protect private information of the younger players). Parent ability to maintain recruiting data for their own child.

Team Portal - a customizable team portal page that lets you easily add your team introduction, upload your team picture, and then plug in portal components. The portal components include the functions mentioned above (practices, schedules, rosters, etc.) plus other portal applications including birthday greetings, where we're from, what schools we attend, team scoring leaders (goals, assists, goalie saves), club scoring leaders, and more.

Club Personnel - easily enter club personnel information, including coach bios, upload personnel pictures, references, experience, past positions, and more for display on your club personnel or coaches pages.

Directions and Maps - easily enter directions and upload maps to facilities and playing fields. Members can conveniently browse directions and maps and produce a printable copy with driving directions.

Remember, with My Team on the Net, you have as much or as little control as you want. You may utilize your own design and plug in My Team on the Net components to add the advanced functionality we offer. Or you may use one of our templates and pick and choose the functionality you wish to offer - SparTech software will even set up the template for you.
