INFORMATION ON DIADORA SOCCER SHOES
Diadora soccer shoes are one of the only Italian footwear companies to still make product in Italy-a tradition that began in 1948 when Diadora's founder Marcello Danieli, first began working in the trade as a young boy.

The Diadora founder started off by making shoes for the Italian army. After WWII he started up a footwear company, that he call Diadora, which is derived from the Greek word meaning "by means of gifts".

Diadora shoes became a household footwear name in Europe during the 50s & 60s. But it wasn't until the mid 1970s that Diadora entered the soccer world.

Some of the first players to endorse Diadora soccer shoes were the famed Roberto Bettega, Marco Tardelli, and Antonio Cabrini.
